SIDES a member of one of the UTC group of companies, are one of the worlds leading manufactures of Fire-Fighting vehicles for Civil and Military Aviation, Industrial and municipal fire brigade s and have been manufacturing fire vehicles for over 50 years.

SIDES equipment is mounted either on SIDES designed and manufactured chassis cabs for high performance vehicles or on commercially available c hassis.

SIDES offers customers a wide choice of accessories to fit on the vehicles along with a wide range of body types, materials, specialist chassis, pumps, foam systems and bodies are designed and manufactures on site and the operation is backed by ISO9001 quality assurance.

 

Civil and Military Aviation Protection

SIDES produce a wide range of airport vehicles from small rapid intervention vehicle to Cat 10 ARFF trucks. All appliances are designed in compliance   ICOA/CAA recommendation to offer swiftness in action and extinguishments.

SIDES offer both custom built chassis and manufactured chassis depending on the customer requirements and all benefit from the latest technical advances offering simplicity, performance and quality.

 

Industrial and Municipal Vehicles

SIDES produce a wide range of industrial appliances for Petrochem and Chemical Industry Protection from a small R.I.V van based unit up to a large 13000 Ltr pump and 14000 Ltr foam tank appliance on a commercial chassis. All units are available with powder units and can be supplied with wireless remote control aspirating and non- aspirating monitors up to 12000LPM.

A wide range of accessories and equipment can also be specified depending on customer requirements. SIDES also produce a various special application vehicles inc. Powder trucks, large monster trucks and combined fire appliance/ Ambulance units.
